[NI] Recently built items and Hut Customizations are gone when I re-enter the app

Whenever I click out of Smurfs Village and the magical meadow and want to start playing it again, it gets really laggy. For example before I clicked out of the game, I was building a lamp post and had something cooking in greedy's bakery. I also upgraded and customised all my huts. When I went back on the game, the customisations weren't there and I had to do everything all over again. This keeps on happening to me, should I start my village all over again?
