Ok - now we are here on the new forum I thought it worth resurrecting this topic (which may already have been transferred). The idea is to introduce Swappy/trader Smurf who will allow us to sell (or trade) items which we no longer want or need. As we work through the game we buy items to help build up our coins and XP but in later stages we replace them with items that generate even more coins and XP. The problem is that we put the old items in the storage hut or simply delete them as we run out of room. I think most people acknowledge that the value of the items being sold would be much reduced down to say 20% of the original price or alternatively sell several items which add up to a value worth 1 Smurfberry. We need as many people as we can to get behind this idea which has been kicking around for at least a year.

I like the suggestion of adding Finance Smurf. I love suggestions that actually are in the comics or the cartoon! Similar suggestions have been made with a trade in idea, but always with new Smurfs that would be made up to fit this idea. I do not want Smurfs that were not part of Peyo's original vision added to this game. I support the suggestion of Finance Smurf because it is a good idea, and I love that a community member researched the Smurfs and suggested a Smurf that makes sense with this concept!Last edited by Purple!; 12-16-2013, 12:51 AM.

Sell back items to smurf for a fraction of the cost. This isn't my idea. It's a feature I've seen on the SIMS, and it comes in handy. If we're in need of smurfberries, we can sell, for instance, the 70SB snake back to smurfs for 35SB. Then we can finally afford that awesome bubble machine we've had our eye on. (Off subject...Why isn't the snake in with the other animals?)

I believe that this is definitely something that the game needs. Many of us may have made a purchase we regretted in the long run and restoring from a backup simply isn't possible. These items can't be deleted and are then only taking up space. If we could get back a purchase at maybe 70% of the original price that would still be an good deal and we can free up some room.
