There is no “fix” for this, Casper, as there is nothing wrong with the game- it is not an error. People probably will never be able to gift across different versions. There is nothing that can be done if your friends don’t update.

Sometimes friends stop playing the game and so do not update. I regularly go through my friends list just before downloading a new update, and if they have not updated to the newest version, I put them on a list and then, if they don’t update by the end of the next update, I un-friend them.

Does anyone else have big issues with version gifting. I cant gift many people anymore due to people using different versions. I find this really frustrating and hate the error. Can this please get fixed.i used to water peoples gardens and gift a lot. Now im not able to

Also, before you start a new topic: In the future, you can use the Search function in the upper part of the forum so you can post things pertaining to that issue or find answers to your questions more quickly in an existing topic, as there are hundreds and hundreds of them!
