[AP] Attempting to travel between village areas causes the game to crash in IOS version 1.4.7-1.5.7

I wrote about it in another topic. Now I copy my comment here:
I crash every time I try to use the Feather when go from Mountain to the Island and almost every time when I go from Planet to the Island. It started from the very beginning when he (Feathers) appeared. I hoped it would be fixed after the update, but it wasn't. I have to return to the MV first and then to go to the Island.

Never had any problems with feathers, maybe crashed 1-2 since introduction. But after updating it's awful! Then again the game crashes on numerous things after update so not sure if it's a specific problem in my case.

Feathers has been crashing when I try to go to my island. It happens about 50% of the time. It's really frustrating.

By the way, my mother in law (same ipad model and IOS version) has the same problem: the main is accessible , the rest crashes

I've been crashing almost non-stop today whenever I try to visit a different section. Tapping on Feathers is throwing me out of the game 9/10 times at the moment. It's been steadily getting worse over the last few days but today has been horrendous.

I can not use my Balloon, ship, or Rocket either. All crash the game. Been trying for 2 hours now. ;

I have the same problem and opend a ticket with Beeline Customer Support. Now they are trying to help me, and we are mailing. I'm also playing on iPad1.

I play on an iPad v1 and traveling between any of the areas has been horrendous for the past few months, and getting worse. My game crashes nearly every single time, and does not stop crashing until I do a complete shut down and reboot of the iPad. it's getting to the point of the game being unplayable, as I cannot waste so much time restarting my iPad every time I want to visit another area of the game. I do not have feathers, so am traveling via boat/balloon/rocket.

I have a first generation iPad and started to play Smurfs Village back in Dec 2010. I've been a pretty regular player and my village is pretty packed. I have maxed out the smurfs on the main village, but the Island, Mountain, and Planets are relatively sparse. In 2013 I started to find that when I took the boat/balloon/rocketship that the game would crash. Then it became nearly everytime. I found that if I closed out all of the other apps and rebooted the iPad (hold power & home buttons at the same time) I could then travel ok if I did not open any other apps.

Now I am finding that even this trick does not work and that I haven't been able to get out of the main village for a month. I have another village on my iPhone 4S and its even more full, but it plays fine.

Any suggestions?

i play on iPad 1, too.
This is what I do: I unconnected from Game Center, I turned off sound and effects, I don't plant or harvest at all in none of my areas.
I close every other app and reboot. AND I have my iPad constantly plugged to electricity.
When I start the iPad again, I start the game and wait for a while. Two minutes? And then the first travelling attempt sometimes crashes, but mostly it works. If not. I close the app and start the game again (no rebooting) and then I can travel.
I can travel by boat, balloon or spaceship or by Feathers. And it works really well, back and forth, untill I spend too much time on an area (1 hour?) and then I have to do a reboot process all over again *sic*

Yes!!! Since 1.5.0.1 i can reach the other areas. However, after every visit i need to soft rebood to be able to visit again.
