[Android and IOS] Notifications are no longer working for Smurfs' Village despite having all of my Settings correct

Smurf village is not notifying me or my phone when things are done and things are dying. Not as many papa expeditions as well. And not as many wonders on this update? Is that just new?

Welcome to the forum! As you can see, this problem has been going on for a long time.
Papa’s quests decrease once you are in all areas and as you level up.
Re wonders: There is one new wonder introduced per update, and that has been consistent for a long time. Early in the game you get many all at once which were previously introduced over a number of years, but once you have placed all those, you only get one per update.
We are very happy to see you here on the forum, and in the future, you can use the Search function in the upper left corner of the forum so you can post things pertaining to that issue or find answers to your questions more quickly in an existing topic, rather than starting a new one. It oftens helps to change the search to “Relevance” rather than “Last Update”, which is how I found this relevant topic.

I've been playing for a while now and I've always gotten notifications on the game. So why now am I not getting any notifications this is very frustrating. I've gone over everything on my phone and all my notifications are on. Please help

Dalene, as you can see from the above posts, this is an ongoing problem that many people have, and unfortunately, there is no fix for it at this time. I suggest that you fill out a Customer Support ticket if you have not done so already. You can do so by clicking the Support button on the upper part of the screen. Notifications have not been working for quite some time. Updates continue to roll out but no hint or working on this known issue.

A helpful hint: Before starting a new topic, please use the Search function in the upper part of the forum so you can find answers to your questions or add your voice to an existing topic. There are hundreds of topics! It often helps to change the search to “Relevance” rather than “Last Update” after the initial search. The reason I made a new post is because the last one was so old. I cannot believe this has been an issue for 5 years. Kind of makes you wonder where their priorities are at.

Yes, this is an old problem, but we still try to keep the comments about any given problem all together in one topic.
Re the problem: The game code is extremely complicated because the game has been in existence for so long, so finding the right code is very difficult. Please note that the previous dev was not able to find and fix it either- see 13 above.
As a note, if you want to answer someone (like me, here) you just tap “Comment” right under your own post and add the @ symbol in front of the person’s forum name- that way a conversation stays all together. You can add as many comments under the original post as necessary!
