Hi everyone! My first post and I am looking for some serious sympathy from people who understand. My game has just crashed at Level 55. The last crash that was unrecoverable was back in August at level 31. I am so heartbroken! My village was beautiful! I buy just about every bonus item and although I know that beeline will refund my smurfberries and SOME items it just stinks to start all over again. I don't know if it was tracker or what caused it, I have submitted a crash ticket to Beeline but I don't have much hope for recovery having been down this road before. The Papa tap trick gets me to view my village and if I tap on the smurfs, they wave, but when I try to recover the village it just goes back to the carousel on my kindle. lol, I am so sad! Tracker does cause problems in my village, many that I see here on posts and I also have to restart often because the text becomes illegible frequently especially when Tracker is in town. A quick restart always straightens that out. I wrote to Beeline about some of the problems I have but nothing was fixed. Like I only have 1 swoof hut and 85 swoofs. Every time I check it still says 'swoof hut limit reached'

Oh, Smurfarella, I am so sorry That really blows. Restarting has got to be just devastating. Honestly, I don't know if I would have the heart to do it.

Before you erase your village, maybe wait until after the next update. Sometimes, the updates have managed to pull crashed villages out of the abyss. I really, really hope that works for you.

And I thought 3 times doing Papa Smurf's game in a row was bad!

Well, here is today's experience: 4 times Papa Smurf's game!

Honestly, how to complete the game like this?

Gave up on a Tracker...I was using Smurfberries to get my objectives completed and then Tracker would show up....and game over. :-(

I have also given up on Tracker. I just ignore him when he pops up with his task list. I hope they get this sorted out soon. I miss Tracker.

I ignore Tracker, he is flaky ad comes and goes. If Beeline takes him out of the game, I will not miss him!

Thanks happybird. I have had to restart about 4 times. The first 2 were when it first became available on kindle and there were bugs. I was so happy. My sister had been playing for about a year on her iPhone. My house was all but completely destroyed in hurricane Sandy and somehow this game kept me from losing my mind, if you can understand. Being able to build and make something beautiful out of nothing. The first 2 times I had to restart I wasn't that far along but last time I was at level 31. The worst part is trying to remember how things were set up and the fact that many bonus items are no longer available. They reimburse the smurfberries but you lose all the great bonus' and prizes etc. I will start over because I have an awful (shameful) amount of money invested in it. But it has been worth it because it is so calming to play, to decorate. I still have it in recover mode, hoping they can do something. It's frustrating because they wave at me when I tap them, I can see my withered crops and shrubs of ripe fruit, but the game will not recover. I'm happy for the village pics I posted to facebook , I wish I had done it more so I can rebuild the same if it comes down to it. Still hoping for a solution from Beeline. My disco! My dogrun! lol, wahhhhhh.

Which Kindle Fire are you using (Year, screen size, HD/Non HD etc.)? It's important to note that all Kindle Fires use outdated, but customized versions of Android OS. While there is no way to know exactly why you are constantly experiencing problems, it does sound like something is going on that is constantly causing corruptions to occur during your game play (such as error with the Swoofs on your planet). These issues appear to snowball until you are left with your game crashing and needing to start over. Do you have any plans in the near future to upgrade your tablet device? If so, now might be good time to do so before you choose to start over again on the same device.

For me, Tracker leaves the village an hour early. When the timer gets down to one hour left it disappears and Tracker's event is over.

I don't know what year my Kindle Fire is, I think it's the first Kindle Fire, when they first came out with Fire, previously I had the regular Kindle. I was thinking of upgrading, but not sure which one to get. Would the Kindle Fire HD 8.9" do? Will I be able to have my smurfberries credited to a new device? I seem to recall something about Beeline not doing that. It is what has kept me from upgrading. I'm not too much of a tech wiz (as you can tell I'm sure) I love this game so much I would upgrade to be able to play without fear of crashing. I love this forum and wish I had found it earlier, maybe your advice would have prevented the crash. I have been reading old threads and found 'you may be a blueneck if.....' Hysterical and made me feel so much better about my obsession! Guilty of just about everything anybody posted there! I work until midnight and my husband says he knows I'm home when he hears me mining.

I'm so sorry to hear about your problems Smurfarella. I nearly lost my village (twice), but luckily was able to eventually get it back because I was playing on an iOS device. I have no experience with the Kindle version of the game, sorry. I sincerely hope you can continue Smurfing somehow.

Thanks Caro, I will smurf again! I have to, I think I have blue blood now. Beeline must be very busy with all of these problems, I submitted a crash ticket on 2/11 and still haven't gotten a response. I miss it so much.

I've found this to be helpful: Whenever tracker event starts do NOT do any of his tasks, and do not play of any of the mini games. Do something to make the game crash, which for me, playing on an iPad v1, means traveling to another area. Inevitably, when you restart SV, tracker's event will say it's ended. Go back to the main menu, and restart SV. Tracker will have returned. This time, he will be much more stable, and even if your village crashes, he wont leave or restart.

Spelling Bee, is it intentional that Tracker is asking us to bake two pieces of whatever or making smurfs eat two cakes? Or is this one of the bugs they have to remove?

I have no information on if that is it isn't something he should "normally" be asking for players to do. Again, I do know that they are working on making changes to his event, but I don't know what all will be changed. Hopefully though, that will be one of them.

I think that they do it intentionally to make you use smurfberries. Should you wait until Greedy's is ready to play again and lose the extra xp - or spend a smurfberry to play right away....I admit that I have spent more than a few that way. I have had the Lazy's and Handy's game come up back to back on Tracker's tasks too.

            • #71
I wasn't able to play for about 7 weeks. There were at least a couple of updates, but no work on Tracker. My first 2 tasks are earn XP in Greedy's game. I can't believe they aren't doing anything about this. Also, why is that horrible bird tab still on the left side of the screen? Didn't we complain enough?

This week Tracker starts with completed tasks. I play on android and on iOS. And on both devices his quests start with a completed "harvest xx Blueberries" quest. I didn't plant anything. Very strange ...

Even more annoying...he wants me to earn 1407 xp from Handy! I got stuck on that one last week. Then he wanted 1500 xp. Max is 1100 xp PLEASE fix it!

It's 9:45 am on Monday morning and Tracker has left my village already. He said the soup was finished but I had only reached Level 1.6.

Hi, Chickadee! This is a well-known problem with Tracker! I think you will find similar comments on this thread, so you may want to make a comment and 'vote' there! http://forums.beeline-i.com/forum/ma...smurfs-village
