[iOS+Android] Ongoing problems with Tracker Smurf disappearing prematurely and inability to complete tasks

I just got told to 'make 2 smurfs eat strawberry cakes' with 5 hours left in the Tracker cycle. The task right before that 'harvest a shrub of acorns'
This is the third week in a row that I get the acorn task within the last 24 hours of the game.
I don't even bother with Tracker until it's Monday AM my time, and I play because some multiplier is better than none.

I really enjoyed tracker smurf when he was working and until a few months ago I never had an issue with him. iOS player on iPad Air with the most recent updates on both the iPad and in the game. This last update seemed to fix him as he didn't go away or reset during the time, but I'm scared of wasting time or SB because there have been so many issues. We have been asking for a way to help the higher level players continue to increase levels with out having to pay SB to fireman smurf to increase our xp and it's a really great idea to use tracker smurf. I'm glad I can gift 50% of my friends now, but I want to gift 100% of them as my major goal and my other goal is to utilize tracker smurf. I usually only play specific mini games for him and I miss him a lot. For me this is in the top three priorities. 1. More space 2. Gift all friends 3. Fix tracker I do want to thank you all for everything you have fixed or added, it has not gone unnoticed, or unappreciated, but I know this is a long going issue and one that will be greatly celebrated when fixed! Thanks for listening to us Beeline and I hope all players soon can use tracker without issues.

Why does Tracker always seem to give me a task of "add 2 mini shrubs" or "add 2 mini gardens" on the very first multiplier? I am not wasting 20 berries on the fertilizer!

Tracker turns up when connected to the internet but not offline. I read that the developers fixed tracker way back when it was 1.2.4 update so perhaps the developers could revisit what they did in that update to fix tracker

My p ersonal suspicion/speculatio is that some of the issues are tied to time zones. I think that the game used to run solely off device time, however after people learned how to game the system by changing their device time, the game now has to reach out to beeline's servers to reconcile time.

However ifthe servers are in a different time zone than the player it causes the Sunday night confusion where you get persistent starting and stopping of the game. Tracker appears to me at 7pm my time sunday night, which should be close to midnight UK time (5 hours difference) I've learned to it even try Tracker until Monday am, and even this monday I had a couple if false starts on Monday until it stuck and lasted.

If he doesn't appear until a device is online it could also be because the game needs to get the command from the server 'hey, Tracker time'

In a similar vein I think the multiple requests are a coding issue. Even this week I got 3 baking requests in a row.. But if the game is coded to see bake 1 cookie, bake 1 strawberry cupcake, bake 1 blueberry cake, earn 234 in Greedys game all as different then it doesn't realize it's handing out the same task over and over. The coding should see each of those tasks as the same one, but it doesn't see to.

To me all similar tasks should be seen as a group, baking tasks, papa tasks, etc, and then pull one task from each group, not just one random task. Some weeks Tracker is obsessed with papas game, this week it was baking. At least with baking there's only a 6 hour wait instead of the 8 there is for papa.

He appears in my game if I open it just after midnight on Saturday night.

As for tasks, I had three baking tasks in a row this week too and they were all doubles, i.e. bake 2 ...

What he's had fun doing with me is asking for things that take all day to do....such as 'earn 920 from handy's game', well the level I'm on the most I can earn is 840, so might as well say 'play it twice'. Same with asking for many hundreds from miner...and oddly enough, my miner just keeps hitting coal after coal, even in the gold mine.

So basically, he may not give you impossible tasks, but certainly tasks that take 2-3 plays of a game to accomplish.

From my personal experience, Tracker Smurf is working normally when:

- An in-game purchase is made (either Rarity Shop, or Special Offers).
- A video form the Video Hut is played in full screen mode.
- A Facebook friend of mine told people there that when he was going to the Google Cloud Backup (under Options, Legal Support) and back in the game it worked normally for him (I haven't tried it though).

I hope it helps Beeline solve this long ongoing issue

I'm not sure if this is a separate problem, but Tracker is missing on some Android devices for a couple of updates. He simply isn't showing up at all. Is Beeline working to fix him or what is happening?

I've basically ignored Tracker for the last two months, and finally saw him roaming around in my Android village at Level 81. The timer reads that he has 728,000 hours left in my village. His task list comes up blank. I think it is safe to say he is broken.

With the schoolhouse update, Tracker is nearly always around. A window pops to say that the event is over, but there he is at the top of the screen flashing away.

Tracker kicks you out of the game when you try and finish the last task on each list then dissappears off the game for ages

Looks like tracker is semi fixed. He does disappear when you close the game but will reappear with all xp accumulated in tact a few minutes after opening the game

Tracker says there is greater than 79,000 bours remaining for his current visit. He's still very broken on my Android Samsung Galaxy Note 2 , on level 82.

This one is fun, buy 2 silos....that require miller smurf with is a money only smurf that I don't have.

Sometimes it feels like they are doing their best to not make it a challenge but to keep people from getting the XP bonus.

It seems daylight savings is causing an issue as papa smurf seems to think the time has been manually adjusted but in fact it was daylight savings and now the tracker event won't even start till next week. Obviously a bug.

Hi Debbles, daylight savings hasn't affected tracker for me. He is still a little buggy with the way I have to exit the game and restart to get him to show up, but he has worked fine. I just have to remember that he will finish an hour earlier than usual.
