I wanted to respond to Morning Sky and Cupcake about how this update reminds us of dear Spelling Bee and also comment on how I have a Smurf's Village neighbor who changed their name to Spelling Bee--I can't really remember what their name was before though, but I was very confused by it! If I recall, her name was initially a pun on one of the earlier owners of the game, beeline.

Chat noir yes I agree, it seemed strange and disrespectful--especially because their village looks old and I assumed they'd have known about our Spelling Bee. But yes...maybe it's just a coincidence.

I’ve got my bee sanctuary all set up (though the wonder is not yet completed). Still have some tweaking to do. I will say the honey pot lamp pairs well with the giant bonsai trees to make hanging lanterns.

It's going to be a few days before I can reorganize over in the Grove to incorporate the new honey items. I'm also going to have to wait for sale prices on the EOs, but I am enjoying the extra space and I plan to spruce up my Spelling Bee area in the MV with some honeycomb walls and other decorations. I think she'd really enjoy this update.

I sure wish the Smurfberry timer on Smurfy Wonders didn't reset when we move them. It wasn't always like this, and it's a huge deterrent to redecorating for those of us who like to collect our Smurfberries all at the same time either manually or with the Smurfberry Bird.

The first thing that I thought of when I saw the items in this update was about redoing my Spelling Bee area, which I’ve sort of done. Maybe at some point I’ll post it… we’ll see. It is a very happy area.

Schtroumpfette, and don’t even bother reporting the timer reset on both Wonders for SBs and any other objects for XP/coins. Even with me explaining that this was a recent “feature”, the response from Customer Service indicated that they feel it has always worked like this (which it hasn’t).

Schtroumpfette ChristalWest Re the wonder timer issue: I think the reality is that if they are not notified immediately about a bug like this, there is no way for them to trace exactly when it started and what might have triggered the issue, as it could be something that has nothing to do with the wonders at all. I know this is not a great solution, but if I move stuff and one of mine gets out of synch, I don’t collect it until the next time I collect all my berries, though sometimes it is hard to resist! 😆

I’m undecided about the new reaction-smileys to posts. Most are fine, but I do worry about the use which could be made of the ‘disgusted’ green one or the orange ‘hating’ one or even the thumbs-down one - sure, there are legitimate uses, eg disgust at losing progress/corruption, or hate because there’s been a glitch preventing you from playing for days, buuuut…. I think players might be quite upset if these were used in a personal way as a reaction to an idea. I don’t want to be part of a forum where people are horrible to each other: I didn’t think that was the smurfy way!!

I would like to register my intense dissatisfaction with the reduced XP on the prehistoric flora and golden shamrock bush which both have been set to 750 XP at placement from 75,000 XP.

ETA: there were many better ways this could have been handled, like locking out those two items at levels below a certain level, maybe 180. Or replace them with new items that are unlocked at the higher levels.

There needs to be at least one reasonably priced, high XP item to keep up with the ridiculous XP requirements to level up beyond level 180.

Honestly, if PopReach doesn't relevel the game or return the high XP items, I'm done buying EOs.

We've been asking for months. I have submitted another ticket, but I don't anticipate a satisfactory response.

In fact, it can be observed in the Recover files that after a new level is added, not 100% of the accumulated XP is missing, but 105% or 107%, since each level consumes 5% or 7% more XP.

They need to do something for sure. I have XP farms everywhere, and I can't get more than 2% per day. I'm 76 percent through 185. Max level is still out of reach for me, and honestly, if after playing 12+ years players can't reach and remain at max level between updates, it becomes a psychological carrot and stick game, and I don't know anyone who likes that scenario.

😳😮 5-7% increase each level is a lot. i didn’t realize it was so much. only way i can keep up is with land expansion so i can add more to my XP fields. if there are no land expansions, eventually i won’t be able to keep up.

Quick heads up - most of the combo offers on today’s sale seem to be offering 500 smurfberries! The current offer is £9.99 for 2 huts + 500 berries + 200 stardust. So even if you weren’t particularly looking for those huts it’s worth considering just to get that many berries and stardust for such a low price. These offers will only last until the weekend I’m guessing so take advantage while you can!
