Ah ha! I think that I know what has happened. When they did one of the last Island updates, a bit of space in the expansion went “missing”. It was corrected and the missing bit reappeared. I think it is likely that perhaps you just didn’t notice it reappearing…

It’s not new asmurf. It’s the Festive Smurf Lamp that’s in the menu for 2500 coins. I think, if my memory serves me, it was added in the Christmas Update last year.

I have to admit, I'm not thrilled with the update schedule.
The winter and Christmas updates should have just been one update or they should have been released in reverse with the Winter update released in January. There's no way I'll have a new Christmas-themed Smurfy Wonder built before Christmas, even if the update drops on Monday because I won't spend SB to rush it.
This kind of last minute rush reduces player enjoyment. -
Haven't we always had even two early Christmas updates in recent years? That was wonderful!

Y3nzid_Raxip I agree! It would be nice if the smurfs could celebrate Hanukkah too.
In this case, I would welcome the departure from the cartoon and comics.
There's a fanfic Empath: The Luckiest Smurf stories where the smurfs meet a Jewish family and celebrate Hanukkah. -

You know this time of year is always challenging. Planning ahead and having a tight schedule means that there’s not much room for error. And please remember earlier this year weeks were lost due to errors and the app stores delaying updates. In the past there have been two holiday updates…but you know, for some that don’t celebrate Christmas maybe they appreciate one that’s just winter. Players can decorate after this holiday until the snow goes away in February or March with the more recent items. I kinda like having stuff that’s not all lights and santa.
There is the reality that no matter what Popreach - or any developer - does it will not please everyone.Comment

There are several bugs making their way through the population. A lot of people in my city are down with flu or ear infections. Hoping she's okay. -
