THe part I love about spring is watching the earth come back to life. There are green things coming up in my yard, crocus blooming, daffodils blooming, tulips on the way. I have sparrows making nests in my yard and I check almost every day to see what plants survived the winter and am making plans what else to do once the weather stabilizes.

I don't think that's an egg either. All the others are in normal places one would hide an egg during a hunt. Putting a giant egg on a rooftop doesn't make sense. Plus, some on the roofs are spotted

I love spring... here in the southern hemisphere, pollen fills the air and though the streets resound with hayfever sneezes there's still a sense of light-heartedness.
We're more hopeful and expectant; we take time to marvel at fragile blossoms.
We think, "we made it through that miserable flu season! Now let's plan for summer holidays!". And in the middle of musing on past and future, a delicate scent of jasmine stops us in our tracks and we can be happy right there in the present.

I enjoy Easter for bringing family together, dying eggs, making Italian Easter Bread, and having the Easter Egg hunt.

I also enjoy all the spring flowers that bloom, my favorite are tulips and daffodils.

As somebody with allergies, I am torn about spring. And summer. And autumn. I love nature so much, but it unfortunately decided that only the two or three months in which everything is dead are months I can endure ???????? I envy you lucky people who can actually breathe and don't want to claw your own skin off ????
However, I love spring and it might be my favourite season! (I really love you autumn and your gorgeous colours, though! I love you both!)
It might sound weird but 'the scent'. You can smell spring, I think. It's fresh, it's soft, it's so pleasant! I also love when you have a beautifully sunny day after so much darkness. I don't mind the darkness as such, but it's a nice change to find an early risen sun and still have it really bright late afternoon! I love flowers in general and the rich bloom in summer can be gorgeous, but there is something endearing and uplifting about seeing little snowdrops fight their way through the ground and seeing their adorable white little blossoms ???? (I'm into cute flowers anyway, I can't help it) I also love the picture it makes when late snow comes in and the ground is covered but those little beauties stand their ground and stubbornly grow and bloom amidst the cold white covering the ground. Jonquils started blooming about last week and I love those, too. Gorgeous colour and shape and whereas snowdrops tell you 'winter is leaving, spring will come', jonquils feels like 'spring has come'. There are mostly the common large ones around here, but in some places you also see the mini version and I love both of them.
What I also really like is when I spot the first buds on trees during a walk! Trees that are leaf- and seemingly lifeless prove you wrong and show you that there's a constant rebirth and growth, that they might have lost everything and stood bare, braving the cold and harsh wind, but now they are ready to allow themselves to sensitive buds of soft colours and life again and within a few weeks will transform into gentle shapes of light green with white or pink or yellow blossoms in some places. Isn't it just beautiful? ???? One of the happiest sounds in nature is birds' chirping! It's so peaceful. Or the sound of softly rustling leaves. Even the rippling of water sounds different when there's life around it.
Another great thing about spring is seeing animals come back! More birds, and once again seeing little wood mice in the forest, or hearing a rustle here and there in late spring that indicates the little lizards are back too to bask in the sun (what a sight that is!).

As for Easter: When I was a kid, we always went to the huge pussy willow growing nearby to cut some branches for a little 'Easter tree' on which we would hang some bought deco and eggs that we cleaned and painted ourselves (well, my mother opened and cleaning them, I painted them. I don't think wee me would have done such a good job with the first part, but the painting looked really nice actually). In the past few years my Easter looked different, but what I loved doing was organising Easter picnics and egghunts for exchange students! Some have Easter themselves and also met for making Easter wraths or baking Easter lambs or bunnies (which I did every year as well), but for students from India or China, for example, it was something new. So we took them to a park and some of us ran around hiding eggs we dyed earlier that day and some chocolate eggs and bunnies. Everybody would bring something to eat and/or drink and we'd enjoy the risen temperatures and sun and sit together on blankets before sending them on an egg hunt. The reactions were pretty much the same from everybody: At first they were hesistant and thought it's weird or for kids, but after some minutes they'd run around laughing or/and make a competition out of it (if we didn't already make it one) who would find the most eggs! Every year we also had to run around stopping strangers and kids from taking all our stuff trying to explain to them that we bought it from exchange students, it wasn't the town or so offering something to its citizens ???? Our plan had flaws, but it always was a lot of fun anyway! One of my favourit things about that also was that one fellow student had an extremely well trained bunny they brought along. Like, they brought their bunny. Just like that. To an open park. It sat with us on the blanket. Didn't run off, nothing. It hopped around, munched the treats we brought for it, slept a little enjoying the sun warming its fur, and enjoyed being pet from everybody. That bunny was amazing.

That was half a novel and I apologise, but I really love spring and nature and today is such a beautiful spring day and I hear the pidgeon couple talk and some other birds chirping and the sun is still shining and it's just really nice ????????

The grey blob above the pink egg with stars, upper right in front of the yellow house isn't an egg, is it? I saw that as a rock or part of the door/entrance similar to that of the other yellow hut with the orange/yellow ceiling. It probably is an egg, isn't it. Jokey just decided to paint it and disguise it as grey with a hint of purple rock.

I've similar allergies to yours. I stay infoors from the first thaw to the first frost. It's a pain, true. You have my sympathies. Tulips are the only flowers I can bring indoors since they are not too fragrant.

Thank you, you have mine. I loved picking daisies when I was little. I have a mini vase and made mini bouquets with them, just this big blob of white with pink edges and I loved it, but at some point I started to get bad headaches, later then dizziness, then an itchy face/scalp. It took a while to realise it were my beloved daisies... Same as you, I hardly ever/never have flowers inside, at most some tulips. I'd like to have more potted flowers, too, but at least I have some mini kalanchoe. They work as well

I counted 27. I like the spring season because the air is warm, I get to do some yard work. Easter l like to make baskets, take my daughter shopping hide eggs so she can hunt for them. Cookouts are always the best, the grill smoke in the air, music playing and people enjoying themselves. I always enjoy seeing the wild rabbits running in my yard. The sound of the birds chirping relaxes me as I sit on the porch.

And just like Evanna, I have heyfever, so I dont like spring that much. But I like eastern and even as an adult I still like to hide chocolate easter eggs for my wife. Most of the time I like to surprise her with it, so she bumps into the first one by not knowing about it.

What I like most about spring, are the adorable baby animals that announce the new revival of nature . The charming hopping lambs in the meadow, the lovely little song birds learning to fly, the cute ducklings splashing in the water…

My favorite things about spring are the rainy weather, the daffodils (my favorite flower), and walks in the cool weather when it's not raining. My favorite thing about Easter is being with family that I don't see very often.

I love springtime because everything is getting to blooming. The tree are putting on there leaves. Flowers are starting to bloom. And most importantly we get a chance to really look back and just take in everything. We have a lot too be Thankful for. Not like at Thanksgiving, but those that believe in Christ. Just look what he did for us. ????
