OK, it was April's Fool Day! I looked at our bday list and the only April is Loukiana, but she isn't on the forum anymore. So when that happens I look for Peanuts characters with a bday in that month. No luck there. But I did find a "10 Peanuts Characters You Probably Forgot All About" site so I asked BF about them. He actually remembered some of them. Since it was April 1, I decided to put them in. They really were in the strip or specials, except the Joe guy who was added for the movie. I think his card is in STT. ????Comment

Hi Scott! Are the shingles completely gone? If you get the shot now will it prevent them from coming back? I guess I really should go get the shot, I know it's miserable to have shingles. Hope you never go through it again! Hopefully I'm nearing the end of my Medical Issues Episode! My ribs are actually still not completely healed because I'm so old ⌛️ but I can do everything except pick up heavy stuff or shovel. We got sleet and snow all weekend that weighs a ton too. Poor BF had to deal with it alone. My colonoscopy Friday came out perfectly normal, thank God, so that whole big scare was from the at home test giving me a false positive. But that means I can't get out of that procedure anymore! So I have a few little issues left and one big kidney one. Going to a nephrologist this coming Thursday about that.Comment

Hey Cat ... I'm sure Scott is going to tell you his shingles are gone, because he was out-of-the-country last week on a business trip. Got back home safe and sound, now.
My doctor talked me into getting the pneumonia shot, and I get a flu shot every year, but I didn't get the shingles shot. He was honest with me and said the shingles shot is only a certain percentage effective. I've forgotten what the percentage is.
So glad your ribs are finally getting back to normal. They will probably bother you at certain times on and off for the rest of your life, If I turn a certain way I get a pull on the right side, and it feels like ribs and goes away in just a few minutes.......and I'm pretty sure that's either from an old injury or age.
Glad you other test came out normal.......five years (or so) not to worry. And, believe it or not, I know what a nephrologist is. Hubby has to go to one related to his blood disorder. The hematologist sent him there........all kind of related. He isn't too happy lately because everybody wants blood drawn and he bruises so easily......the hematologist, the nephrologist, the heart specialist, and now the pain management doctor wanted another MRI. It seems to never end...............Hope you are back to school, doing well, and continue to heal...........hugs, Ginger

There is an update to STT right now in the App Store.........however; don't go running over there expecting it to actually work (You know what STT is like). Ern spotted it this morning and reported it at TS. I spotted her report and updated the Easter update, and there was absolutely nothing changed. Actually, the download went so fast, I suspected that it wouldn't work, cause usually any update with STT is slower than molasses. Now when I try to go into STT it says it has to relaunch, and it relaunches very quickly, and again there is nothing different. Guess it will happen when it happens!

SSF will not work on future versions of IOS. You may have noticed a message saying this app might slow down your device. In IOS10.3 this message now says the app won't work on future versions.
With IOS10.3 you can also find a list of other apps that won't work in Settings:general:About:ApplicationsComment

Hey Guys, I asked Graeme to put the above message here because I didn't think I would word it properly. I'm going to try to tap some of you to make sure you see it. He said when 11.0 comes out we will no longer be able to play SSF..........unless we don't update, I guess. Like I said, I didn't know if I would say it right.Comment

I'm still running iOS 7 on my iPad and iPhone, although I will be needing a new phone, like yesterday, they're more expensive now. -
I'm still on iOS 9 too. I never jump into an update right away because there's sure to be bugs and glitches and issues. I was actually waiting for 10.3 hoping it fixed all the problems, but now I think I'll wait some more. I can live w/o the latest as long as my watch doesn't require it. Hey I can't update my iPad 2 anyway, and that's where SSF lives, so I can play it forever! Just w/o all you guys ???? That will be terrible! -
I won't update my iPad until it disappears. I have the last one before the mini, ipad 3 or 3rd generation, so I may update to 9 for other reasons but not 10.

Hi Graeme. I didn't get a notification to update to 10.3 version yet. I'm assuming you did, which is how you got the messages on your game. I have been getting the "slow down your device" messages every now and then, but of course I ignore them and play anyway...I tried going on settings to see the list of apps that won't work, and it just said "40" but I couldn't tap on it and I didn't see a list. I guess I have to wait for the update...
Reading this just now really made me sad! I can't see a way around updating when the time comes, as my other most recent apps may require the update in order for them to run properly. I'm sure this is the case with some of you as well.
Its sad sad cuz we all pretty much knew this day would come eventually...but I really didn't think it would come so soon. ???? Even my youngest son was sad when I told him SSF may soon come to an end....I've already spent time a while back taking pictures of my game...all the comics and menus and items and areas in my fair and garden...
Sad news indeed.....☹️☹️☹️

I knew about the update from another source. I hadn't received any notification even though it had gone from 10.3 to 10.3.1. I don't rush into updates until I've read a few reviews. I was interested when I found 10.3 would list the apps that wouldn't work in the future. I found a copy of older Snoopy apps that also wouldn't work, eg Snoopy Coaster but no big loss with those.
Update or not, I guess it depends how useful the new features will be.
I stopped playing SSF on my ipad2 and deleted the game. I wish I hadn't now. I'm hoping it might still be on my computer when I do my next backup. -
I had to manually go through my settings to find the update. I think it was out for a while now, and I just forgot about it. I like to read up on whether I should wait to update or not as well. For me, only SSF and one other game will be affected by the future updates. Hope you can save your game and play again while you can...if you do auto saves on your device for all your apps, you should be able to find a recent save of SSF somewhere. Good luck!
