Looks like Beeline finally pulled the plug on the SSF servers ???????? I can’t visit anyone. I was planning on sending a scarecrow to the people left playing for Halloween and I’m mad that I won’t be able to. Should’ve done it earlier!

Funny, cat, I was just thinking much the same, having noticed the game keeps showing no internet connection these past two days when I clearly do on my end. The past month or so, my daily bonus has been Zero anyway, although I'd been getting my 5SD bonus every 5 days until yesterday.

Meanwhile, I have accumulated nearly 700SD and was going to do some major gifting, but apparently not. ????

I was also going to open my 2 dozen PMBs shortly after Thanksgiving just before we move to replace my iPad, but will now do it sooner; perhaps for Halloween! ????

I will level up to 534 later tonight, so that's kinda cool. Who'd ever have thought they'd have added so many levels? I want to say today my daily streak was up to 2139 days, or thereabout.

As Ginger says, we are fortunate to have at least had our small little corner if the internet here, so I will echo her thanks to Spelling Bee for looking out for us in that regard.

All-in-all, SSF was a great game. I've never found another (Peanuts themed or otherwise) I've liked as well.

Good grief -- it finally happened! It was fun while it lasted -- and it lasted quite a bit longer than I ever expected.
Today is the first day I have had a problem.

Just to give myself a challenge for the past month, I have been trying to replace all my trees with magic seed trees or character topiaries. And I was hoping to generate a once-a-day harvest that generated at consistent 25% bump in progress.

So what does the server cutoff actually mean?
Obviously, no more gifting with friends...
No more 5SD bonus?
No saved games being reset from server?
If the game gets corrupted, is that the end of your game? Or is there still a backup on your device?

Snoopy Mom -- it's been fun to watch your progress! I have about 2 dozen boxes. Are you going to do open yours on Halloween? Maybe I'll join you.

Kay, as of last night, I had 25 boxes. Since Weds is Halloween, I figured I'd open 5 per day beginning with last night thru Halloween night. So as of right now, I'm down to 20.

As for your questions, as best I can tell, being cut off from the server terminates anything requiring internet connection with them to proceed. So yes, no more visiting friends' fairs, no gifting, no daily bonus, no collecting 5 bonus SDs every 5 days, no restoration if your game corrupts, etc.

I was going to play thru replacing my iPad next month, but I think I will simply call Weds my "last hurrah". ????????????

So it’s goodbye to our many Snoopy fans who have so much enjoyed SSF and visiting each other’s fairs. It hard to imagine that at one stage I was trying to balance 100 friends and now just a handful. No regrets. Not sure how long I’ll keep playing solo but I still have a device that serves no other purpose.

Just logged on to see if anyone else was unable to visit their friends fairs in SSF. It's been 2 days for me. Sad to see that it is so. However, I'm still getting a generous daily bonus from somewhere. My $5 bonus is supposed to come in 2 days, but am guessing that won't happen.

Snoopy Mom, I'm very impressed at your reaching such a high level & saving up 700SD! I wholeheartedly agree with Kay that SSF was the best! Just can't get inspired by all those newer Peanuts games with the 3-D characters instead of the cartoon style ones of my youth.

I've saved up 25 boxes since my last opening spree on my birthday in June. I guess Halloween is as good a holiday as any to open them. As for continuing with the game, it's been a toss up for some time now as to whether the game or my ancient iPhone, that I don't use for anything else, will die first.
