The following steps will guide you through how to upload and share an image through the third party image hosting site imgur without having to sign up for an account.

Start off by visiting www.imgur.com on your mobile device. Once the page loads, Tap the X near the "Open in App" button at the bottom of the screen.

Next, Tap on the Menu button in the upper left corner. Once on the Menu options page, tap the X in the upper left corner.

You should now be on the Sign in page. Instead of signing in, tap on the Menu button again in the upper left corner. This should open up a new options menu. Tap on "Random Mode".

Once the next page loads, tap on the little Cloud Upload symbol in the upper Right corner. When the next page loads, ignore the "Get App button" and instead tap on the X in the upper right corner.

When the next page opens, tap on the Green + Button symbol so that you can select an image from your device. Select your Photo Library and browse for the image that you want to upload.

Once you've selected your image, you'll be at the upload page. Tap on the Upload button and make sure that the progress bar finishes loading. If it doesn't, it's most likely due the size of the image being too large (this can sometimes happen on larger screen devices with higher resolutions such as the iPad Pro). Try selecting a different image, or reduce it's size with photo editing software on your device or a computer.

In the upper left corner, tap on the "Link" selection menu. Scroll through the list of options and choose "BBCode" and then done.

You should now see the link that you'll need above your image. Long press on the Link to bring up the "Select All" text option. Once again, long press on the newly selected text to bring up the "Copy" text option.

Once you have your link copied, go to the forum and long press in the text entry window to bring up the "Paste" option. Confirm that the link was pasted correctly, and then tap on Post Reply. The page should refresh and your newly hosted image should show up full size and ready for all to see!

Thanks to forum member debbles smurf for providing an alternative to imgur known as https://imgbb.com/! (Please note that while this site does allow you to upload and share images here on the forum, they do appear slightly smaller than if you were to use imgur.)

Debble's Steps for uploading to imgbb are as follows:

Click start uploading
Select pic you want
Click upload
Select Full bb code option
Click copy
Paste to the forum where you want as if you are going to write a comment
Click post

yosinori saitou You should be able to just upload the gif to imgur, or some other hosting site and put the correct bbcode tags here.
