I have just found this thread....so cute all of them. We don’t have any pets except our garden birds and they aren’t really pets, though we adore them. I’ll try and get a photo in the daylight.

That's a great use for the fur. I'm sure the birds appreciate it.

I can't help thinking of all fur from spring blowout from Siberian Huskies and other cold-weather dogs. That would line a lot of bird nests.
