Actually, here’s a much better pic of little Lucky (so-named because she survived quite a few accidental drops to the floor in her first few days: she was very wriggly!). What she REALLY enjoys is breakfast porridge

I really didn't think they lived that long either. He had an inside and outside house but spent most of his time inside and was an only guinea pig, I think this is maybe why he lived longer. His cage sat next to the bird cage , they were friends. When he heard the fridge open and the sound of a plastic bag he'd squeak like crazy wanting his lettuce leaves!

Chat noir Oh look at that... ????. Soooooo cute.... I’ve had hamsters since I was a kid, I love them, they’re great pets even though they don’t live too long. When my son was growing up I used him as an excuse to get more but now he’s 17 they’re not so cool anymore so I need another excuse to get one now! A tiny bit of chicken once every so often is good for them, along with egg. They need a small amount of protein. I used to have one of those balls too, the cat would spend his life trying to get the hamster out of its cage to ‘play’ but would run a mile when it was in the ball! ????

Not really my pet, just his fur! Those of you who are owned by long-haired cats will know how that hair sheds...my Ragdoll needs regular combing, particularly in Spring, or he gets uncomfortable tangles and knots. So, I thought of the ultimate recycling to help the garden birds build their nests! This is posted in an attempt to cheer up sad, sniffly IslandLife. Hopefully the upcoming update might ease your woes!

I have just found this thread....so cute all of them. We don’t have any pets except our garden birds and they aren’t really pets, though we adore them. I’ll try and get a photo in the daylight.

What an adorable springtime set up! You have cheered me up from my screenshot woes! Thank you Chat noir ! A soft bed for the baby birds... awww. Although I did once host a pair of pigeon chicks on my balcony... and can testify that that was not a sanitised & sanitary Disney-like experience! ????????
