Thank you! We love the new house. It is really an apartment, but the building is a house from the 1800's. We even have an official plaque on the outside declaring it a historical property. We have the downstairs, a huge cellar and the backyard. The ceilings are 10 ft. high and the original hardwoods go throughout. Plus, we have neat features like built-in cabinets and wainscoting. And the size of the place is perfect for us. Our upstairs neighbor is a veteran in his 60's and very nice. The only time we really hear him is when he is going out his front door. For being in town, it is very peaceful here. And no psycho, drunken roommates! What could be better?
We have bunnies too, Chicka ????. Two little boy rabbits that we 'rescued' from the local kindergarten. When I get the chance, I will have to post pics.
Chika, congrats! You got a new rabbit I know sometimes it takes a bit time to have another pet after the former one passed away... I'm happy for you and Mr Bunny Please sometime post his pics!
It sounds like Mr. Bunny has found a good home. The first pet we had for our children was a mini-lop ... called Ears. He was easily house trained and was free to run around when we were home. My son would take him out for walks on a leash ... much to the enjoyment of the neighbours. Ears was a house pet but he had time outside everyday ... I would put his cage in the backyard so he could nibble on the grass. One day a wild rabbit hopped up to the cage and it looked like they were talking ????. The kids loved him but he did manage to chew most of the power cords in the house!
