What a Smurfy Valentine's Day present!!

I am very pleased to see new quests. Decided to start with the 5 new cooking ones and am zooming thru these pretty quickly as they are all straight forward and don't need very complicated ingredients. One thing that slightly disappoints me is that all 5 new recipes don't relate to each other at all - it was nice last time to get strawberry batter and strawberry cake (for example) as new recipes - you could make the batter and then make the cake - solving two quests and using up the results straight away while gaining stars to level up. This time there is coffee batter but no coffee cake - if I want to get stars in this, there is nothing to do with the batters at the end of it - do I delete them, sell them or use up storage keeping them in the hope there will be something to do with them later?

I agree; what a wonderful Valentines Day present to find a new Smurf Life update!

Here are my thoughts about this version so far:
1) Thank you so much for removing Solar Amulet Shards from the inventory count!!! This is absolutely awesome!!!
2) Thank you so much for adding a fourth rune slot!!! I just unlocked it and I am very happy.
3) Is level 24 still the level cap? I am glad if that is true because I am still trying to catch up to the end.
4) I am incredibly sad that the ability to play Smurf Life while listening to my music/podcasts/radio. I will continue to hope this will be addressed soon.
5) Now Smurf Life crashes every time I go to open the Map view. I put in a report to Beeline already, but am really curious if anyone else has this problem with the new update?

My game is still crashing every time I enter Map view. I just discovered this means I don't have access to a shortcut to where my Apprentices are at or a map that shows me them. I had to wanter around in circles in search of a Brick Wall :-(

Thanks for the update! My impressions so far:

1. Yay for solar amulet shards not taking up storage space!
2. Yay for extra rune slot.
3. Some old bugs still exists, like the completed items being stuck in the crafting log.
4. One of Miner's new recipes requires blue paint. I'm bummed about this. Spending moondust on paint recipes should not be required. I know you can get some paints from Jokey, but it could take forever to get the paint you need.
5. For the new quests, every conversation with the smurfs you find under the clouds have the exact same dialogue. There used to be sort of a story of why that smurf needed a certain item. Now it's just generic. I hope it's not like this in future updates. I liked reading the dialogues. It seems kinda lazy on the developers part.

Yah for amulet shards not taking up storage - until I read the last two comments I hadn't realised the change as I have been busy with the new recipes. Yes, level 24 is still the top level. Thanks for the heads up on the blue paint - I refuse to spend moondust on it so will see if I can get from Jokey in the daily game - I did get two last week that I needed for the blue trimmed hat quest for Nanny so I will do it thay way.

I'm enjoying the update so far! I'm glad for the extra rune slot, and having fun with the new recipes! What has everyone uncovered? So far I have pudding and rocky road in cooking, and I'm trying to get to level 24 (only 7 more stars!) to get the rest. I guess coffee batter is one?

The 5 in Cooking are pudding, rocky road, coffee batter, honey popcorn and pastry cream.

While everyone else seems to be working on Cooking I've been spending my time in Building. There are five new recipes:
Timber - Bamboo Flute and Bamboo Litter
Miner - Marble Urn and Marble Wall Plaque
Handy - Key with Padlock

The Alchemy ones are Firework, Transparent Potion, Wooden Sceptar, Bronze Hairpin and Bell - you need lots of gold bricks and storage slots for these ones!

I am exhausted just thinking about that. I wish we had an apprentice who made Gold Bricks like we have ones for Silver and Bronze Bricks.
